A question on period costume museum?
ABC asked:
Is there such museum exist within the European continent? I’m currently into the Victorian and ‘Pride and Prejudice’ times and also interested in other costumes too e.g. Greek, Medieval, olden-day-French-costumes, etc; they are very interesting to draw. I would appreciate if you could name the museums for the resources that I have are useless. I would prefer places in England but I am perfectly fine with other countries.
I want to be veterinary technician
Thanks

I would assume the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
Victoria and Albert Museum, London
In England you need to check out the
Victoria and Albert Museum
named for the monarchy of the Victorian Era they have a lot of period clothes on display and a large archive of artifacts
also personally I am interesting in military history, especially clothing as alot of uniforms are colorful and very indicitave of the culture of the period. If your interested too check out
Royal Armoury Museum in Leeds Englad
offical site
Wikipedia article about the musuem its especially interesting because it one of the oldest museums in England and one of the largests with a variety of armour and clothing dating back to the Middle Ages

The Costume Court at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London is not what it used to be! I remember spending many happy hours looking at their costumes starting from about the 16th century, but it all seems to be more modern now.
There doesn’t seem to be much clothing from before the Tudor period, but the Museum of London has some Medieval shoes! Also, there are some costumes at Kensington Palace.
Another excellent museum is in Bath, England, the Museum of Fashion. I remember they have quite a lot of costumes from the eras you specify. Have a look here:
