Can you help me fix this sentence please?
Kami Kaze Desu!~ asked:
The louvre, a french museum, is sending art to Atlanta yet they will not send us the Mona Lisa.
There are five mistakes. I know there needs to be something after Atlanta, but I’m not sure if you put a comma or semi colon. Please do help, and is possible explain.

i cant find the otehr two im like retarded at htis stuff. hope that helps
A comma would be correct because the word “yet” is functioning as the conjucting word between the two independant clauses. If there was no conjuction, you could use a semi-colon. As it is, a semi-colon would be incorrect.
Here is the corrected sentence, but you should really try studying harder so you can correct it yourself:
The Louvre, a French museum, is sending art to Atlanta; yet, it will not send us the “Mona Lisa.”
proper nouns (names) should be capitalized. An organization can’t be they it must be it. Titles should be set apart with quote marks.
I must disagree with the above poster who used a semicolon; it isn’t necessary in this sentence. Also, it is not necessary to put quotation marks around the Mona Lisa. To be absolutely correct, you would put it in italics.
The Louvre, a French museum, is sending art to Atlanta, yet it will not send us the Mona Lisa.
Here’s the semicolon rules:
The Louvre, a French Museum, is sending art to Atlanta; and yet they will not send us the Mona Lisa.
